Career Center Resources

Things To Know...

Columbus City Schools Career Technical Programs are for students who are interested in getting a job immediately following high school graduation or for students who plan to attend college and seek employment after receiving their degree. Students who are applying should be in good academic standing and have a good attendance record.

  • Acceptance into the program is a two-year commitment (11th and 12th grades)

  • PE and Health are not offered at the Career Centers (see Guidance Counselor for help developing a plan to fulfill credit requirement)

  • Students who attend Fort Hayes Career Center will spend half their day completing academic courses at Eastmoor Academy, and the other half of their day completing career-tech courses at Fort Hayes

  • Students who attend Columbus Downtown High School will spend their full day (at the high school) completing their academic and career-tech course

  • Transportation will be provided for both programs
